AI Contract Overview
The United States Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center is soliciting quotations for a firm-fixed-price contract to supply ten units of a CAM and Bolt Assembly for helicopter hanger systems, identified by NSN 3040-01-434-4434 and part number HH0405, manufactured by Federal Equipment Co. This procurement requires strict compliance with packaging specifications—each item must be individually packaged and marked with the NSN, as commercial standard packaging is explicitly unacceptable. The supply must be delivered to their receiving room in Baltimore, MD. The solicitation is conducted under simplified acquisition procedures, with an intended award on an all-or-none basis to the lowest-priced, technically acceptable offeror, and follows the NAICS code 333998 with a business size standard of 700 employees. Offerors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) and provide their Tax Identification Number (TIN) along with their valid DUNS number in their quotations. The deadline for submission is February 24, 2026, 10:00 am EST. The solicitation includes mandatory FAR provisions and clauses related to commercial item contracting, corporate expatriate prohibitions, labor requirements, Buy American Act compliance, and restrictions on subcontracting, among others. All responsible vendors are encouraged to participate, but they must disclose their corporate status under HSAR clauses regarding inverted domestic corporations, possibly attaching waiver documentation if applicable. The contracting office is located in Norfolk, VA, and the primary contact is Donna Scandaliato. The government will consider factors involving compliance with packaging, pricing, and technical acceptability in determining contract award.
