AI Contract Overview
The Defense Logistics Agency is procuring 14 camera subassemblies with NSN 6720-01-663-0095 to support legacy systems requiring obsolete WATEC cameras originally acquired by NAVAIR as an end-of-life purchase. These cameras are not assigned an NSN and will not be managed by DLA, necessitating direct transfer from NAVAIR to fulfill contractor obligations for two DLA NIINs and three NAVSUP WSS NIINs within the ALRE ILARTS system. The solicitation, issued under SPE8EN-26-T-2867, requires compliance with DLA’s Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements and mandates adherence to strict packaging, documentation, and export control protocols, including DFARS 252.225-7048. Technical data associated with the item is subject to ITAR or EAR restrictions, limiting access to contractors with approved US/Canada Joint Certification Program status, completed training, and DLA authorization. Proprietary or insufficient data precludes competitive procurement, and all supplies must comply with DLA requirements for removing government identification from non-accepted items. The delivery schedule demands fulfillment within 164 days of award, with performance located in Tracy, California, and primary point of contact Jennifer Esworthy at DLA.
