Contract No. CB-76/UDT-15 The work to be done under this contract consists of all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for the for the installation of approximately 1,872 linear feet of 6-inch PVC sanitary sewer force main and associated appurtenances. The work includes abandonment of the existing force main, connection of the proposed force main to the existing manhole, installation of a quick-connect assembly, excavation and backfill, testing, pavement restoration, finish grading and seeding, and all other work necessary for a complete and operational sanitary sewer force main. All Work is to be completed in strict accordance with the Drawings and Project Manual. Work is contained under one unit price contract. Only bids submitted online at PennBidTM – https://pennbid.bonfire.com by the date and time above will be considered and opened.
Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any cause whatsoever, to eliminate any item or items from the contract, to waive any informality in the bids or to make an award to such Bidder who, in the judgement of the Authority makes the most advantageous bid. No Bidder may withdraw their bid within sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening of the bids.
The project is subject to applicable provisions of Act 422, Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act as amended, and prevailing minimum wage rates issued by the PA Department of Labor and Industry.
