CAP, PILLOW BLOCK

This contract is for the procurement of two pillow block caps with part number C467LA021 and NSN 3130-01-413-2085, identified as a commercial item and critical application component supplied by JERED LLC. The item must comply with the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements referenced by R and I numbers, with tailored higher-level quality standards applying to both manufacturers and non-manufacturers. Mercury and mercury-containing compounds are strictly prohibited in the item, its preservation, packaging, and labeling, except for specific functional uses like batteries, fluorescent lights, sensors, or weapon systems as defined by NAVSEA, and portable devices containing mercury must include shockproof construction and a secondary containment boundary. Item Unique Identification is not required per customer request under DFARS 252.211-7003(c)(1)(i), but physical identification and bare item marking must follow applicable standards. Delivery is required FOB origin within 116 days of contract award, with zero variance allowed in quantity, and inspection and acceptance occur at the destination. Packaging must conform to MIL-STD-2073-1E and DLA packaging requirements, with marking in accordance with MIL-STD-129 and no special marking required. The product must be palletized per RP001 and shipped to the DLA Distribution facility at New Cumberland, Pennsylvania.
