This contract specifies the procurement of 838 units of a protective dust cap with moisture seal, identified by NSN 5340-01-017-9951 and part number G4010B, supplied by WIREMOLD CO of West Hartford, CT. Delivery is required within six days of contract award, with FOB origin terms and a zero variance tolerance on quantity. Inspection and acceptance occur at the destination, and all items must comply strictly with DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, which override any conflicting standards. The product must be free of ozone-depleting chemicals and cannot contain intentionally added mercury or mercury compounds, except in specified exempted applications such as batteries, fluorescent lights, sensors, or naval-referenced instruments, with those exceptions requiring a second containment boundary per NAVSEA 5100-003D. Packaging must adhere to MIL-STD-129 for marking and labeling, with commercial packaging per ASTM D3951 only acceptable if the material is non-hazardous; hazardous items must comply with Fed-Std-313 and TQ requirement IP025. Palletization follows DLA Packaging Requirements for Procurement, and all units must be marked per MIL-STD-130N for military property identification.
