DCMA MUST PHYSICALL INSPECT PARTS and verify raw materials used meet requirements PER CUSTOMER ISSUES:
1. Materiel must have all required components including: key ring or chain.
2. The manufacturer's ID is required.
3. The pull rings must meet requirements.
4. Materiel must meet chemistry requirements of the allowable CRES alloys and/or the allowable aluminum alloys.
5. The overall size requirement for an A-A-59326 coupling assembly is indicated in Figure 1 and Table I of A-A-59326 as dimension B must be inspected physically by DCMA at least by sampling.
- ALUMINUM MATERIAL 1-1/2 INCH SIZE. IN ACCORDANCE WITH COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION TITLED, "COUPLING HALF, CAP, DUST, TYPE IX."
- A metal casting process was identified as a means to manufacture this item. Tooling is required to produce a casting.
