Capital Boulevard Corridor Design

The City of Raleigh Department of Transportation is soliciting qualifications for the Capital Boulevard Corridor Design project under solicitation number 274-TR-2026-08. The objective is to advance the project to 30 percent design, implementing recommendations from the 2012 Capital Boulevard Corridor Study. The scope of work includes project coordination, preliminary engineering and design, environmental documentation, public engagement, and grant support. Selected firms must provide an hourly rate schedule and maintain comprehensive insurance, including Commercial General Liability of at least 1 million dollars per occurrence and Professional Liability of 1 million dollars per claim. The contract requires strict adherence to North Carolina public records laws, ADA accommodations, and OSHA safety standards. Respondents must also certify their business status, insurance coverage, and compliance with state divestment laws.
