Cass County is seeking proposals from Vendors for a replacement of the current telephone system for Cass County Government Offices that occupy four separate buildings. The current phone system was originally ShoreTel, now Mitel, and is hosted on-premises. The County is looking to do a complete replacement of the existing phone system to enhance our ability to provide remote phone service, improve our redundancy and add additional features to our phone capabilities. We are looking to migrate to the cloud and integrate with Microsoft Teams as part of the solution. The County would like to have the installation of the phone system completed before December 2024. Proposal requirements are detailed on pages 2-4 of this RFP. The primary goal of this request is for the Vendor to deliver a proposal that: supports a cloud voice solution;ability to port our existing phone numbers;support for our toll free numbers;support for voice features including voicemail, softphones, auto attendants, texting, hunt groups, andworkgroups;integration with Microsoft Teams G3 licensing;ability for staff to use on site and remotely;ability to report on call volume and utilization;ability to use physical VoIP phones where applicable;must have disaster recovery and fault tolerance built in preferably with two fiber and one cellular connection.Cass County, with a population of 51,403 in 2022, is located in southwestern lower Michigan, bordering Indiana, just 115 miles east of Chicago, 176 miles north of Indianapolis, and 183 miles southwest of Detroit.
