AI Contract Overview
Solicitation SPE7L1-27-T-1403, issued by the DLA Weapons Support Land Supply Chain, is for the procurement of five swivel casters (NSN 5340-01-668-9009) conforming to reference drawing 01413 L-5. The requirement is managed under the First Destination Transportation program with a delivery window of 83 days after order. Inspection and acceptance will occur at the destination, specifically the DLA Distribution DDSP New Cumberland facility in Pennsylvania. All quotes must be submitted via the DLA Internet Bid Board System, with a response deadline of October 26, 2026. The contract mandates strict adherence to DLA Master List technical and quality requirements, including specific packaging standards such as ASTM D3951 and MIL-STD-129 for marking. It incorporates significant regulatory constraints, including the prohibition of Class I ozone-depleting chemicals and hexavalent chromium. Due to the nature of the technical data, the contract is subject to ITAR and EAR export controls, requiring contractors to have approved US/Canada Joint Certification Program certification. Administrative requirements include the use of Wide Area WorkFlow for invoicing and compliance with DFARS safeguarding and cybersecurity standards, including NIST SP 800-171. Price evaluation preferences are available for SBA-certified HUBZone small business concerns.
