CCTV NVR Replacement (Upgrade)

The City of Lake Forest has issued an informal Request for Quotation, solicitation number 2026-RFQ (Quotes)-044, to modernize its Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) Network Video Recorder (NVR) compute infrastructure. The project involves refreshing hardware across five primary facilities: City Hall Civic Center, Sports Park, Skate Park, Heroes Park, and El Toro Park. The selected vendor will be responsible for migrating approximately 125 camera feeds and configuring servers to archive to the city's existing Network Attached Storage without modifying camera-side IP configurations. All proposed hardware must be brand-new, enterprise-grade, and 100 percent compatible with the latest version of Milestone XProtect. Key requirements include a mandatory pre-deployment site walk and audit to evaluate environmental and spatial constraints, the provision of final as-built documentation, and the transition from Windows 10 Pro to a city-approved Windows edition. The vendor must provide a Statement of Experience and Qualifications or Technical Proposal along with a Costing Summary.
