The Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP) is conducting market research to assess commercial availability to provide junior and senior level scientific support to support the research management needs at CDMRP. In-line with the above goal, the CDMRP wishes to obtain information from commercial sources that possess the capability to provide junior and senior level personnel support for current and future research programs. The anticipated contractor support duties are attached. The CDMRP directs the management of a number of medical research programs, including breast, prostate, ovarian, kidney, and lung cancer, defense health, neurofibromatosis, tuberous sclerosis complex, autism, psychological health/traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury research, bone marrow failure, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, medical imaging, medical informatics, behavioral health, medical simulators, mobile health applications, medical robotics, deployed health, and other medical research programs. CDMRP requires contractor personnel to assist in the management of these programs. The anticipated level of support is dependent upon annual program funding but it is estimated that over the entire period of performance, roughly 40-60 support personnel could be required. Two senior-level Science Officers in each of the five major research portfolio areas will be considered Key Personnel: Autoimmune and Genetic Disorders; Cancer; Cardiovascular and Respiratory Health; Infectious Diseases; Neurological and Psychological Health; and Tissue, Organ, and Orthopedic Injuries and Restorative/Rehabilitative Medicine.
