FMS Saudi Arabia Case SI-B-WAD Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source Response Date: 10 days from postdate, IAW FAR 5.203(a) TITLE: Fixed Exercise Control (ExCon) and After Action Review (AAR) Installation For the Saudi Arabian Ministry of the National Guard (SAMNG) PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) International Program Office (IPO) has received a requirement from the Office of Program Management Saudi Arabian National Guard (OPM SANG) for the installation of the existing fixed Exercise Control & After Action Review instrumentation system and New Equipment Training. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The Period of Performance (POP) for this effort totals 6 months. ACQUISITION APPROACH: This requirement will result in a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Foreign Military Sales (FMS) sole?source contract to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). This action will be awarded in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302?1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is the OEM for this system and retains proprietary rights to the required system software. ESTIMATED DOLLAR VALUE: The total contract value for this effort is estimated at $650K.
