The NRC plans to award a sole source purchase order to the CIS for Center for Internet Security membership. The NRC Computer Security Office's (CSO) Policy, Compliance and Training (PCT) team performs cyber security oversight activities to ensure Agency compliance with the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA). Oversight activities include system authorization activities; establishing and maintaining a comprehensive configuration management baseline; continuous monitoring activities; and risk management activities. CSO PCT uses the CIS security configuration benchmarks, the benchmark audit tool, on line forums, and statistical materials to support its efforts to establish a comprehensive configuration management baseline and to verify the agency's baseline has been properly implemented using the tools and services CIS provides.
