The CenterPark Specific Plan is a comprehensive land use initiative by the City of Ontario, California, aimed at transforming approximately 257.34 acres into a mixed-use, transit-oriented community featuring up to 4,293 residential units and 250,919 square feet of commercial retail and office space. The project is structured across two ownership areas and 22 planning areas, with Ownership Area 1 containing 3,095 residential units and 210,544 square feet of commercial use, while Ownership Area 2 includes 1,198 units and 40,376 square feet of commercial space. A total of 67.26 acres of open space parkland is designated, with 55.98 acres in Ownership Area 1 and 11.28 acres in Ownership Area 2, supporting a sustainable, walkable urban environment with integrated green infrastructure. The development must comply with the City of Ontario’s Municipal Code, the Uniform Building Code, and CEQA guidelines, with environmental review focused on biological and historic resource impacts, requiring mitigation to ensure all effects are reduced to less than significant levels. The project applicant, Ontario Ranch Venture I and II, LLC, is responsible for advancing the plan through City Council adoption and EIR certification, with public review periods extending through mid-2025. While the initiative involves extensive planning, infrastructure improvements, and environmental compliance, it does not constitute a federal procurement contract; there are no identified contract clauses, pricing, line items, payment terms, contracting officer roles, or federal acquisition regulation elements such as CLINs, FAR sections, or solicitation numbers. The City of Ontario, through its Planning Department, acts as the lead agency for administrative approvals, with technical support from consultants, and all submissions must adhere to CEQA procedural requirements, including public comment periods and PDF-based documentation, with no federal contract administration or financial tracking mechanisms applicable.
