DEFENCE CONSTRUCTION CANADA (DCC) – DN200003_CN78726 – CFAD Water Distribution System - Phase I, 17 Wing Detachment Dundurn.The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the supply of labour, material, supervision and equipment necessary to install a new potable distribution system at 17 Wing Detachment Dundurn.The Plans and Specifications (P&S) for this opportunity may be ordered from MERX by logging on their website: MERX : Find New Contracts, Bids & Tenders for Canadian Businesses or by calling 1 (800) 964-MERX (6379). AMENDMENTS TO THE TENDER DOCUMENTS SHOULD BE OBTAINED FROM merx AS AMENDMENTS OBTAINED FROM OTHER SOURCES MAY NOT BE THE LATEST.Bids from bidders whose name does not appear on the official list of bidders who ordered the tender documents, may be declared invalid.A non-mandatory site visit has been arranged for the following date, time and location. It is highly recommended that bidders attend this visit.Date: November 24, 2022Time: 10:00am (local time)Location: Meet outside Building 268 CFAD HeadquartersThe estimated cost for this opportunity is in the range of $6,561,000.00.The Work must reach Substantial Completion no later than 250 calendar days after notification of contract award and must be completed no later than 30 calendar days after the date of Substantial Completion.This procurement is being conducted in accordance with the requirements set out inChapter Five of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).The selected contractor will be required to hold a valid DOS-RELIABILITY, issued by the Contract Security Program (CSP) within Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC). Details concerning the Security Requirements for this project are identified in the Tender Documents.As per Acknowledgement Document, Item 7 – Bidders are advised that it is understood and agreed that in the event of their Tender being accepted within 30 (thirty) calendar days of the date and time stated for closing of tenders and their failing or refusing to carry out the contract in accordance with the terms of their Tender, their bid security, if required by the tender, (i) if in the form of a wire transfer, shall be forfeited to His Majesty the King in Right of Canada, or (ii) if in the form of a Bid Bond, the Bonding Company shall be liable in accordance with the Bond.Please note that the preliminary tender results for this project will be available on MERX.Inquiries relating to this solicitation are to be directed ONLY to the DCC Contracting Authority mentioned above.
