The primary requirement is to deliver eighteen gym memberships covering seventeen crew members and one spare for guests or staffing changes, with access to facilities operating from 7 A.M. to 9 P.M., including men’s and women’s locker rooms for showering, changing, and secure storage. The gym must be located within fifteen miles of the USCG facility at 225 Coast Guard Rd, Vicksburg, MS 39183, and must support a minimum of twenty-five individuals exercising simultaneously with adequate equipment including weight benches, squat racks, barbells ranging from five to one hundred fifty pounds, dumbbells, kettlebells, pull-up bars, cable machines, ellipticals, treadmills, stair climbers, rowing machines, stationary bikes, and a twenty-five-meter pool. All contractors must be actively registered in SAM.gov, hold a valid UEI number, and comply with all applicable FAR clauses including those related to business ethics, whistleblower protections, labor standards, and restrictions on certain telecommunications and Kaspersky Lab services. The solicitation emphasizes full compliance with the Statement of Work and requires offers to be submitted electronically or via SF-1449 to Tracy.A.Meadows@uscg.mil by the deadline of July 9, 2026, at 10:19 a.m. local time. The contract period of performance runs from July 1, 2026, to April 30, 2027, and the Government intends to award the contract without discussions, meaning offerors must submit their best terms upfront. Evaluation criteria include price, technical capability, past performance, and delivery time, although specific weights are not defined. The contractor must also comply with Buy American requirements, anti-human trafficking provisions, organizational conflict of interest restrictions, and flow down specific FAR clauses to subcontractors. Invoicing must be directed to the address listed in Block 18a of the SF-1449, and payment will be processed by the same office. Compliance with all representations and certifications

Fitness Studio at 7 Pacific Coast Highway in Hermosa BeachThe City of Hermosa Beach is preparing to convert a small existing structure located at 7 Pacific Coast Highway into a fitness studio, a project that is categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act under Class 3, which covers the conversion of small structures for a different use. The initiative involves no expansion of the building footprint or significant alteration beyond internal reconfiguration to accommodate fitness equipment and related amenities, ensuring compliance with state environmental exemption guidelines. The project is scheduled for a posted date in June 2026, with no formal solicitation number assigned at this time, indicating it is a forecasted initiative rather than an active procurement. Angelique Soliz, the City’s Contract Planner, serves as the primary point of contact for administrative and procedural inquiries, while Kyle Flynn, the project owner, is the key representative overseeing the development and implementation of the fitness studio. The project will fully take place within Hermosa Beach, California, with the zip code 90254 identifying the exact location. No set-aside provisions or NAICS codes have been specified, underscoring that this is an internal city-led conversion rather than a competitive bid process. Additional details and documentation can be accessed via the state’s CEQA Nexus portal using the provided project link.
