Synopsis to provide the following: THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLICIT A SOLE SOURCE FIRM-FIXED PRICE (FFP) REQUIREMENT, Solicitation W58RGZ-17-R-0117 under the authority of U.S.C. 2304 ( c ) (1) and regulatory authority at FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The United States Army Contracting Command - Redstone Arsenal, Alabama (ACC-Redstone Arsenal) 35898-5280. The contemplated requirement will be sole sourced to Honeywell International Incorporated, 111 south 34th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85034-2802 (CAGE 99193). This requirement is for CH-47 aircraft T55-GA-714A engines, up to 350 each, and CH-47 aircraft T55-GA-714A engine electronic control units (ECU), up to 350 each, from August 2018 thru August 2023 for engine production to support the Cargo Helicopter's Program Management Office (PMO) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirements. This requirement will include 5 one year ordering periods, or a one-year base contract with four one-year options. Honeywell International, Inc. is the original designer and prime manufacturer of the CH-47 aircraft T55-GA-714A engines; NSN 2840-01-458-5361, Part Number 2-001-020-39, and CH-47 aircraft T55-GA-714A engine electronic control units (ECU); NSN 2995-01-613-5005, Part Number 2-170-700-21. This synopsis is provided for informational purposes and is not to be considered a request for proposal (RFP).
