Greener Homes Division is seeking the assistance of a bilingual professional Project Manager / Change Management Professional, with the aim to improve NRCan’s GHD processes/methodologies/governance in EnerGuide’s modernization, assist GHD staff adopt best practices, help support a continuous improvement culture and facilitate change management of large-scale projects. The objectives of this work include: • Support the implementation of steering committees whose role is to manage programmatic changes; and mechanisms to report to GHD management. • Lead project management initiatives, to ensure common alignment across all projects coordinated by GHD Technical Services Group, while supporting other units within and outside the Division. • Coordinate the intake of new projects and support the documentation of current projects for which project management documentation exists. • Implement tools and techniques to optimize specific activities and inform and/or train internal and external stakeholders. • Oversee change management processes and support management team and partners towards transition phases. • Ensure development of projects and applications are reflective of building science applied to low rise housing in Canada and more specifically in line with NBC Part 9 buildings and to the programs and initiatives put forward by NRCan. • Ensure projects are following Government of Canada and other public sector requirements for security, IT guidelines and other particularities linked with operating in the public sector.
