FAR 52.252-3 has been upda ********************** ************************************************************************************************************************ DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This is a Total Small business set-aside to purchase and deliver a new 10KVA, static inverter with 120-Volt AC single phase output and 125-Volt DC input digitally controlled Ferroresonant Inverter in accordance with the enclosed scope of work for Cheatham Power Plant located in Charlotte, Tennessee for the USACE Nashville District. 1. TYPE OF CONTRACT: The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price supply contract. 2. BASIS FOR SELECTION OF AWARD: Award shall be made to the lowest price offeror who is found to be responsible. Quote must meet or exceed the technical specifications and delivery schedule to be considered for award. 3. PLACE OF DELIVERY: Cheatham Power Plant, 2250 Cheatham Dam Rd, Charlotte, TN 37036. 4. DELIVERY DATE: Inverter shall be delivered sixty (60) calendar days after contract award. 5. NON-MANUFACTURING RULE: In accordance with FAR 19.502-(2), - For small business set-asides other than for construction or services, any concern proposing to furnish a product that it did not itself manufacture must furnish the product of a small business manufacturer unless the SBA has granted either a waiver or exception to the non-manufacturer (see 19.101(f)). The NAICS code for this requirement is 335999, in which the SBA has not granted either a waiver or an exception to the non-manufacturer rule; therefore the non-manufacturer rule applies to this procurement. 6.
