To supply and deliver all materials, labour, equipment, and chemicals necessary to provide Chemical Treatment Services including:InspectionUpgradesMaintenanceMonitoringTesting Services (including all testing reagents)ReportingThis work shall be done for Hot Water Boilers, Steam Boilers, and Cooling Towers, for the protection and control against scaling, corrosion, and bacterial growth for systems located at various County of Lambton facilities. The contract shall include testing, monitoring and chemical treatment, and reporting, during the heating season on a monthly-basis, and, assisting with start-up and shut-down of the boilers and cooling towers, on a semi-annual basis, as scheduled by County of Lambton. Cooling towers are to be maintained in the cooling season on a monthly-basis. Services will require the submission of monthly reports, which shall outline the findings of the monthly inspections as specified herein, and any finding during the start-up and shutdown. Monitoring records and reports are to show treatment levels, site conditions, and recommendations. Immediate reports are to be submitted on critical concerns including mechanical conditions found. Additional locations may be added as and when required throughout the term of contract. The contract will be awarded for a three year term, with an option to extend the contract for an addition term, as per section 4.18.Chemical treatment of systems shall follow immediately after systems have been cleaned and flushed. Systems shall be dosed in amounts and circulated for length of time as directed by the Chemical Treatment Specialist. Chemicals shall be furnished in sufficient quantity to adequately treat the system for the period the contract.All systems and chemicals must follow all health and safety procedures. Water treatment supplier shall ensure that SDS sheets for each chemical are available at each location and provide proper product labels on ALL containers. The supplier shall also be responsible for the removal of any old or unused chemicals in the room and supply of the new chemicals and filters for each system.Water treatment supplier shall provide training of operating staff and provided written instructions and advice in clear and concise format. Reports shall be submitted on treatment performance following each visit within two days.
