The Defense Health Agency and Defense Logistics Agency are issuing a notice of intent to establish a Qualified Supplier List for chemotherapy gloves. This pre-solicitation notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for proposals or quotes. The goal is to identify single-use, powder-free, non-sterile, synthetic medical grade gloves that comply with ASTM standard D6978-05:2013 and are not made with natural rubber latex. This effort will eventually lead to a Standardization Action and an Incentive Agreement under the Medical/Surgical Prime Vendor program. To be eligible for the list, vendors must maintain an active status in the System for Award Management and provide a CAGE code. Participants are required to have or be obtaining a Distribution and Pricing Agreement and separate commercial agreements with prime vendors such as Cardinal Health and Owens & Minor. Additionally, all proposed items must be manufactured in a Trade Agreements Act compliant country and vendors must complete the corresponding TAA Certification.
