The project proposes 60 acres of cannabis cultivation on an 89.18-acre parcel (APN 099-030-058) in Santa Barbara County. The project includes outdoor cultivation and the use of eight agricultural accessory structures for drying and processing. The land use permit includes validation of five open storage structures. This license will include 42,460 sf of mature canopy and 150 sf of immature canopy area. Distribution of cannabis during harvest season will occur approximately 1.5 times a day in a small van. Approximately 2-4 permanent employees will be on site, and an additional 10-20 employees will work shifts during harvest season. Access to the site will be via Highway 135. Water will be provided by an existing groundwater well. No new construction or grading will occur.
