Full Description

The Government is seeking a Contractor to provide wetland restoration for Circle Cross/Lightsey Ranch in Polk County, which includes clearing and grubbing; structure removal; excavation; earthfill (construction of earthen dikes and ditch plugs); installing concrete box inlets and reinforced concrete pipe; installing riprap; installing articulating concrete block mats; and seeding and mulching . This is a sealed bid procurement. The government reserves the right to cancel the solicitation before or after the closing date. All solicitation documents will be available in electronic format at www.fbo.gov. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration data base to be eligible for award. The dollar range for the project is $250,000 to $500,000 and the estimated time for completion is 105 calendar days. Work is tentatively scheduled to begin in October or November after the rainy season. The NAICS code for this procurement is 237990 and the SBA size is $31 million. Solicitations will be posted on FedBizopps on or about July 28, 2010 and are due on or about August 27, 2010 at 2:30pm local time. Faxed bids will not be accepted.
