The item must comply with stringent technical and quality specifications referenced from the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, including compliance with SAE AS14154C and SAE AS58091, and is subject to the Qualified Products List or Qualified Manufacturers List requirements. The circuit breaker must be free of mercury and mercury-containing compounds except for specific exemptions such as batteries, fluorescent lights, sensors, controls, weapon systems, and chemical reagents specified by NAVSEA, with portable fluorescent lamps and instruments containing mercury requiring shock-proof design and a secondary containment boundary per NAVSEA 5100-003D. The use of Class I ozone-depleting chemicals is strictly prohibited, and any substitute chemicals require prior approval. Packaging must adhere to MIL-STD-2073-1E with preservation method 41, climate control level 1, and unit packaging code U, while marking must follow MIL-STD-129 without any special marking codes. Inspection and acceptance occur at the destination, with delivery required FOB origin within 94 days of contract award.
