The item is classified as a critical application and must be packaged in compliance with MIL-STD-2073-1E and MIL-STD-129, including special ESD marking code 39. All packaging must incorporate DOD-qualified electrostatic discharge and electromagnetic interference protection per MIL-PRF-81705, using specified barrier materials from QPL-81705 qualified manufacturers, with additional requirements for cushioning to prevent physical damage to leads and terminals.
