The City’s Water & Wastewater team invites responses from qualified suppliers to provide sewer inspection and related sewer maintenance services within the City. The Supplier shall provide all labour, supervision, equipment, tools, vehicles, and materials necessary to perform annual sewer inspections, ad‑hoc flushing , and emergency response services in accordance with the Deliverables and all applicable legislation, regulations, and safety standards. All services shall be performed by qualified personnel using properly maintained equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations, the supplier is responsible for traffic control as necessary. For all flushing activities, the Supplier shall employ a flush-and-capture methodology in accordance with the requirements set out in the commission letter. The average annual spend for sewer inspection and related sewer maintenance services over the last 3 years was approximately $150,000.00. Total expected distances to be flushed over the next 3 years is 100km. City sanitary sewer system consists of sewer mains ranging in size from 200mm up to 600mm. Respondents should note that this value is an estimate of annual spend and no guarantee of annual spend during the any contract term.
