Sealed Bids for the construction of the Water System Improvements ¿ FY 24 CDBG ¿will be received, by the City of Damascus, at the Damascus City Hall ¿ 8120 Joe Bryan Street, Damascus, Georgia 39841 until 11:00 AM local time on July 15, 2026, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. No bids may be withdrawn after the closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days except as specifically detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. Work of the Project includes demolishing the Kestler Avenue chemical feed building and constructing a new chemical feed building with chemical (sodium hypochlorite) feed equipment, electrical, controls, fencing, grading/site work, well pump and appurtenances, well site piping, including valves, fittings, and associated appurtenances required to connect the well and drinking water treatment facility to the City¿s existing drinking water distribution system, +/- 20 water meters, meter boxes and all appurtenances necessary for complete installation.
