This Work includes the supply of all labour, materials, equipment and services required to complete the construction of the Poundmaker Snow Storage Site Upgrades. The Work includes, but is not limited to the following: Mobilization and demobilization Work Site management including temporary construction facilities, security, and protection of existing Utilities Removal of existing manholes, existing fence and gate, existing light poles, existing pond liner, existing asphalt and concrete. Site earthwork and subgrade preparation. Construct the new settling pond, including excavating material, grading the slopes, lining the pond side slopes with HDPE liner, and hard surfacing the pond bottom. Construction of the pond inlet and outlet structures, including gates and walking platform on piles. Construction of underground stormwater pipes and manholes via open cut and vertical trench methods and tie into existing infrastructure under 107 Avenue. Hard surfacing the Snow Storage Pad, Equipment Area, Access Road and Drainage Swales (various structures and surface types, see drawings for details). Install new fences, gates, and lights around the site. Landscaping including topsoil and seeding the area around the perimeter of the site Work Site cleanup Warranty and Maintenance Final inspection and Contract closeout.
