Proposals will be publicly received and registered on March 15th, 2024. Bids will be received no later than 12:00 pm on the above date. The Sewer Relining project is a result of the findings from the Closed-Circuit Television Inspection (CCTV) that was done in 2015, 2016 and 2017. With this inspection, it has been found that various pipes within the City are at risk of collapsing, which poses the potential risk of sewage backup in homes or businesses. There is an additional risk of sinkholes from pipes that may collapse in the City. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities and/or informalities and to disregard all non-conforming, non-responsive, unbalanced or conditional bids. The City of Melville complies with all Equal Opportunity requirements. All qualified bidders will receive consideration without regard to race, creed, colour, national origin, sex, marital status, religion, ancestry, mental or physical handicap or age.
