Scope: The City of Menlo Park (herein referred to as “City”) has issued this Request for Proposal (RFP) to solicit responses from qualified vendors offering services per the requirements identified in this RFP. The City is dedicated to being a leader in municipal innovation, leveraging advanced technology to deliver exceptional services to support its municipal operations. In pursuit of this vision, the City is evaluating the adoption of a Zero Trust Network Architecture (ZTNA) for the modernization and unification of the City’s network infrastructure across city facilities. This Request for Proposal (RFP) outlines our current infrastructure, future goals, and the strategic outcomes we seek from the transition to ZTNA. It also includes a questionnaire for prospective vendors to ensure alignment with our civic and technological mission. The City strives to be a technology-driven municipality, prioritizing robust connectivity, resilient security, and scalable solutions. By deploying a Zero Trust-centric network, the City intends to create an integrated digital foundation that powers vital municipal applications, supports smart city initiatives, mitigates cyber risk, and guarantees secure, seamless access throughout city premises.
