Full Description
The meeting will be held at the City of Poulan Council Room located at 208 West Broad Street, Poulan, Georgia 31781 and will be opened to the public. Proposals can be mailed or delivered to the attention of Shanna Entrekin, City Clerk for the City of Poulan at P.O. Box 69 or 204 Hunton Street SW, Poulan, Georgia 31781. Proposals received after the designated time will not be considered. The City of Poulan may select a successful low bidder after evaluation of all bids. The Scope of Work Includes: Leveling and Resurfacing Improvements to Elm Street from Hwy 82 to Hwy 256 (1.421 Miles)
All proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in favor of the City of Poulan in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the lump sum bid for the complete work: such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded a Contract, will promptly enter into a Contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bonds as provided by the law and approved by the Attorney for the City of Poulan Performance Bond shall be equal to 100 Percent (100%) of the contract amount and Payment Bond shall be equal to 100 percent (100%) of the Contract amount.
The Bid Bond shall be forfeited to the City of Poulan, Georgia as liquidated damages if the Bidder fails to execute the Contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within (10) days after being notified that he has been awarded the Contract.
All work on the project must be completed within 90 consecutive calendar days from the date of the NTP.
