City of West Sacramento General Plan Update

The City of West Sacramento is overseeing a development project by Blackpine 440 West LLC to construct 106 single-family dwelling units. The project scope includes the development of a 0.43-acre public neighborhood park, a private dog park, a private garden and common area, and all necessary infrastructure improvements such as utilities, landscaping, and access roads. The work is located at 412-430 6th St, 425 & 640-702 E St, West Sacramento, CA 95605. The project is classified as a later activity within the scope of the General Plan 2035 Environmental Impact Report, meaning no new environmental documents are required under CEQA Guidelines Sections 15162 and 15168(c)(2). A Notice of Determination was approved on January 17, 2024, confirming no significant environmental effects and no required mitigation measures. Administrative updates were processed through the State Clearinghouse, moving the project from SCH#2014042087 to SCH#2015082061. The City of West Sacramento Community Development Department serves as the lead agency responsible for inspection and final acceptance.
