CITYWIDE CONSULTANT ROSTER SOLICITATION: Conservation and Environmental Issues Consulting
Solicitation # CTY-CR-2025-02
Solicitation CTY-CR-2025-02 establishes a citywide consultant roster for Conservation and Environmental Issues Consulting to provide specialized services across various City of Seattle departments. The scope of work is divided into six functional categories: natural resources environmental services, environmental assessment, energy conservation, environmental management, field sampling and material testing, and forestry services. This mechanism allows departments to contract with qualified consultants for projects estimated below 420,000 dollars without a formal advertised competitive process. Applications are accepted continuously through December 30, 2030, and are evaluated based on the consultant's experience, including the completion of at least three relevant projects, as well as necessary professional licensing and education. The procurement emphasizes small business priority and the inclusion of woman and minority businesses. Approved consultants must comply with the City's Paid Sick and Safe Time ordinance, non-discrimination policies, and disability access laws including Title II of the ADA. Contract administration involves manual invoicing with payments issued within 30 calendar days of receipt. The City maintains the right to audit books and records in King County, Washington. While approval to the roster does not guarantee a contract, selected consultants will operate under a standard agreement that may include non-disclosure agreements and specific insurance requirements based on the risk level of the assigned work.
