AI Contract Overview
Solicitation SPE7L1-27-T-2175 is a fixed-price procurement issued by the DLA Weapons Support Land Supply Chain for 57 units of Bridge Clamps (NSN 5340-01-558-6095). The items are defined by Army drawings and must be delivered to the DLA Distribution DDSP New Cumberland facility within 168 days after the order is placed. The procurement is open to full and open competition and is not a small business set-aside, although a price evaluation preference is available for certified HUBZone small business concerns. Compliance requirements are stringent, requiring manufacturers to maintain ISO 9001:2015 certification or an equivalent quality system. The contract mandates strict adherence to export controls, requiring offerors to have an approved US/Canada Joint Certification Program certification to access technical data. Packaging and marking must comply with MIL-STD-2073-1E and MIL-STD-129, while identification marking must follow MIL-STD-130N. Inspection and acceptance will occur at the origin, with the DCMA serving as the approving authority for test procedures. Additional regulatory requirements include compliance with the Buy American Act, the Berry Amendment, and CMMC Level 2 self-assessment. The use of Class I ozone-depleting chemicals is prohibited, and items produced via additive manufacturing are ineligible for award without specific approval. All quotes must be submitted through the DLA Internet Bid Board System, and payment processing will be handled electronically via the Wide Area WorkFlow system.
