NASA/GSFC has a requirement for Part Number: 00202004 - X30C Cleaner Closed Loop to include P/N 00204202-2 - X30C Hot Vertex Dryer - Heated air dry, P/N 89100005 - X30C Misprint & PCB Water Knife Final Rinse, P/N 00204323 - X30 Vent Hood, P/N 00204320 Doors with windows for X30 Vent Hoop Option, P/N 71001515 Safety Interlock for X30 Vent Hood Option, P/N 00204108 Nitrogen Conservation System, P/N 00204331 - Exhaust Control - Wash Chamber, P/N 00206102 - Closed Loop Solvent D.I. Rinse system, P/N 00205001 - Filter Change Notification System and P/N 00160011 - X30C Crating and Handling Cost. NASA/GSFC intends to purchase the items from Austin American Technology only. This company is the only source of supply for this equipment because they are the only manufacturer and have no distribution network for product sales. The features and design of this equipment are proprietary to Austin American and are not available from other sources of supply. Authority is FAR 13.106B(1) Only one source reasonably available. This procurement will be processed using FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. This synopsis shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information solicited. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 4:30 p.m local time on April 6, 2016. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
