NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENTCleaning and Housekeeping Services - Sorel Coast Guard Base This requirement is for Fisheries and Oceans Canada.BACKGROUND The Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) Base in Sorel is a Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO) facility. DFO is responsible for the management of facilities, including the Sorel Base.The requirement is for the services of a contractor to provide daily, monthly and annual janitorial services. The Sorel Base operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Most operations where the maximum number of employees are present are during regular business hours between 7:00 am and 4:30 pm.The base has a reception area (gatehouse), an administrative building and workshops.The cleaning work must be carried out by a contractor who has qualified labour and necessary materials.SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:This contract includes security requirements. The Contractor personnel requiring access to sensitive work site(s) must EACH hold a valid RELIABILITY Status, granted or approved by CSP, PWGSCPERIOD OF CONTRACT:The period of contract shall be from June 1, 2023 to May 31, 2024.
