Full Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This synopsis/solicitation is issued as a sole sourced Request for Quote, for (92) ClimaPak Bundle rechargeable refrigerator units manufactured by Kewl Innovations, Inc. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 9 days after date of publication of this synopsis, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-66. The ClimaPaks are to be shipped in accordance with FOB Destination to the following location: C/O HHS MSC Facility 6701 English Muffin Way Frederick, MD 21703 Attn: Chaltu Wakijra (202)-594-6302 The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition and a statement regarding any addenda to the provision. Provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, is applicable. Offers received will be evaluated based on technical capability of the item offered to meet the agency need, past performance, and price. The evaluation factors are equal. Contractors shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. Clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and a statement regarding any addenda to the clause.
