The Defense Logistics Agency, DLA Maritime Norfolk, intends to procure, on a sole source basis, one (1) Each BB8100 Boring Bar from Climax Portable Machine Tools Inc. (CAGE 15509), or from authorized resellers. Climax is the original equipment manufacturer and the only acceptable manufacturer. Items are to be delivered to the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, VA. The procurement will be 100% small business set aside utilizing FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items) and FAR Part 13 (Simplified Acquisition Procedures). Contract type will be Firm Fixed Price and delivery is FOB Destination. The required delivery date is 20 July 2019. The solicitation will be posted on or about 1 May 2019.
