Project Details: DLA Aviation Industrial Plant Equipment Division currently has a requirement for the Procurement of a Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) Horizontal Turning Center in accordance with the attached product description VIBB 18-25-1007 dated November 14, 2017. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code assigned to this procurement is 333517. Intent to Sole Source: DLA Aviation Industrial Plant Equipment Division intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. DLA Aviation Industrial Plant Equipment Division intends to award a firm-fixed price, definite delivery sole source contract to Mazak Machine Corp. Other interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than March 06, 2018. Interested parties: If your organization has the potential capacity to perform these contract services, please provide the following information: 1) Organization name, address, email address, Web site address, telephone number, and size and type of ownership for the organization; and 2) Tailored capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability. If significant subcontracting or teaming is anticipated in order to deliver technical capability, organizations should address the administrative and management structure of such arrangements.
