DLA Aviation Richmond intends to issue a solicitation to procure a quantity of one (1) CNC Lathe, plus related tooling, accessories, installation and training. Delivery/performance will be at the Allegany Ballistics Laboratory, Rocket Center, West Virginia. The solicitation will be unrestricted. A complete technical data package will be available when the solicitation opens. The estimated release date for the solicitation is on or about 3/8/13. The anticipated closing date is 4/8/13. The anticipated performance period is 120 days ARO. Quality Assurance Provision (QAP) 208 will be included. Offers will be evaluated for technical acceptability and will then be evaluated based on a combination of price and past performance. This solicitation will include provision 52.215-9023, Reverse Auction. Since a Reverse Auction may be conducted, offerors are encouraged to access the Procurex system and review the Reverse Auction help tutorials at: https://dla.ProcureXinc.com to learn more about how to participate in an auction. The award will be made as a firm, fixed-price contract. FOB at Destination. Inspection and acceptance will be at Destination.
