The contract covers the procurement of large teal-colored medical attendant coats, specifically identified with NSN 6532-01-529-4899, under solicitation number SPE2DH-26-T-2378 issued by the Department of Defense's Medical Supply Chain. The contract requires that each coat be packaged in commercial-grade sealed containers that protect the item from damage, with shipping containers appropriate for common or export transport as needed. All markings must comply with Medical Marking Standard No. 1, superseding previous MIL-STD-129 requirements. The contract references adherence to specific technical and quality requirements as per the DLA Master List, with inspection and acceptance points located at the destination. Delivery is set at five days with strict quantity variance allowances, packaged per MIL-STD-2073-1E standards. Supplies must be sourced from approved manufacturers or distributors such as Henry Schein (P/N 398-4695) or Benco Dental (P/N 1875-992), known commercially as the Medflex Jacket. The contract notes FDA regulation applicability for this medical device, requiring contracting officials to collaborate with product specialists for compliance verification. The unit of issue is one package containing ten coats. Pricing and quantities are precisely defined with no allowable variance, and the contract is administered through the Defense Logistics Agency with a primary contact provided for queries.
