This action is a Sources Sought Notice for planning purposes only, with no formal solicitation or contract award anticipated at this stage; however, future procurement will require vendors to provide all management, personnel, tools, equipment, labor, and materials needed to repair damaged fiberglass body panels, prep, and repaint the entire cab and body in factory color or equivalent, while replacing all applicable warning, safety, and capacity labels. All work must conform to industry standard body repair and paint practices, in accordance with manufacturer specifications and the Draft Performance Work Statement, and contractors must be able to contact the manufacturer or authorized service provider for technical manuals or part lists as needed. The requirement is set aside exclusively for small businesses, and the Air Force plans to directly solicit at least three qualified small businesses after posting a presolicitation notice on SAM.gov. Contractors responding to this notice must submit a capabilities statement of no more than five pages containing their company name, address, UEI, CAGE code, point of contact with email and phone number, verification of small business status and any applicable socioeconomic certifications, a positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor, and disclosure of any existing government contract vehicles that could be used. Responses must be submitted electronically by June 17, 2026, to the Contract Specialist and Contracting Officer listed, and must not include proprietary information. The work may be performed by any qualified retailer within the continental United States, with the 14th Logistics Readiness Squadron responsible for transporting the vehicle to and from the vendor's facility, provided the vendor is within a 150-mile radius of Columbus Air Force Base in Mississippi. The anticipated award date is July 17, 2026, with a 60-day performance period following award, and contractors must comply with all security protocols at Columbus AFB, including escort requirements. The contractor bears full liability for any damage caused during service and must provide a warranty consistent with standard commercial practice. Inspection and acceptance will be governed
