Combining and Trucking ServicesThis requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada CORCAN, Collins Bay and Joyceville Institutions, Kingston, Ontario.Trade agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).Tendering procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid.Competitive Procurement Strategy: A responsive arrangement that meets the requirements of the Request for Supply Arrangement (RFSA) and meets all mandatory technical evaluation criteria.Set-aside under the Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business: This arrangement is not subject to any set-asides for Indigenous Suppliers.Comprehensive Land Claim AgreementThis arrangement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement.Security Requirements: This arrangement does not include security requirements.Nature of Requirements: The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) CORCAN requires Agricultural Combining and grain trucking services for cropping operations.Objectives: Combining and trucking services for wheat, soybean, corn and barley crops for the Collins Bay and Joyceville Institutions in Kingston, Ontario during the harvest season which occurs between the months of July until December.Deliverables: The Contractor will be required to provide combining and trucking services for the following crops:WheatSoybeanCornBarleyThe Contractor must provide all equipment and manpower necessary for the combing of the crops listed above. The quantities of each crop will vary each production year. Quantities of each crop could vary between 80 and 300 acres in a production year.In addition to combining services, the Contractor must provide trucking services for harvested grain as required. Trucking services, will be charge on a per ton basis, and are limited to a 100KM radius of the harvesting location. The Contractor must transport all grain by truck to a grain elevator pre-approved by the Project Authority.The Contractor must provide services in English.Any conditions for participation of suppliers not specified in solicitation documentation: none.Estimated quantity of commodity: see solicitation document statement of work and basis of payment.Expected Delivery Date: The Supply Arrangement (SA) will remain valid until such time as Canada no longer considers them to be advantageous to use them.
