The United States Forces Command (FORSCOM) is seeking an extension modification to contract W91247-23-C-0002, a sole source bridge contract held by SAWTST LLC. This extension, on a firm-fixed-price basis, covers an additional four-month period of performance with two optional one-month extensions. The request is prompted by a Government Accountability Office (GAO) solicitation protest received on April 27, 2023, which necessitates continuity of COMET support services beyond the current contract expiration date of April 30, 2023. The initial contract W91247-23-C-0002 was established as a bridge contract to the prior contract W91247-17-C-0027, which was awarded exclusively to a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, to provide time for a competitive recompete under solicitation W91247-22-R-0017. This extension is funded by fiscal year 2023 Operations and Maintenance Army funds and aims to maintain uninterrupted support for FORSCOM activities at Fort Liberty, North Carolina. The contract is managed by MICC-Fort Bragg's office and involves North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 541614. Points of contact for this contract extension include John Machine and Anna Walker, both reachable via provided Army email and phone contacts. The extension ensures that ongoing COMET support services remain functional while the competitive re-procurement process is finalized.
