The Government is contemplating an award of a Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC) Design-Bid-Build, RM-23-1146 Dry Dock 2 Caisson Overhaul at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (PNSY) in Kittery, Maine. This project performs a required overhaul of the Dry Dock 2 Caisson to maintain certification. This also includes caisson seat extension and vertical extension of the existing caisson to provide continuous flood protection from Berth 6 through the caisson and to Berth 5. Portions of work will need to be performed with the caisson out of the water.
