COMMERCIAL DRYERS

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, United States Penitentiary Big Sandy located in Inez, Kentucky, is issuing this solicitation for the requirements of Energy Efficient Commercial Dryers as described in Attachment 001. A single award will be issued. The NAICS code for this procurement is 333318, with a small business size standard of 1000 employees. The Government will award to the responsible quoter(s) whose quote, conforming to the solicitation, is most advantageous to the Government based on best value. Best value will be determined by evaluating each quotation for one or more of the following: price, past performance, quality, comparison with other offers, conformance to the description of the requirement, delivery timeframe, and administrative cost. The solicitation will be made available on or about December 24, 2012, and will be posted to the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website: http://www.fbo.gov. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to insure they have the most up to date information about this solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is January 15, 2013 at 14:00 Eastern Standard Time; however, this is a projected estimate and quoters should refer to Page 1 of the solicitation (Block #8) for the actual date quotations are due.
