Commercial Internet Service at the Utah Test and Training Range

The U.S. Air Force is seeking information from qualified sources capable of delivering a comprehensive commercial internet service solution at the Oasis Compound within the North Utah Test and Training Range, specifically serving six buildings identified by their geographic coordinates at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. This action, identified as a Request for Information (RFI) under solicitation number FA8201-26-WiFi, is purely for market research and planning purposes, with no intention to solicit or accept quotes at this time. The scope requires a turn-key installation of a dedicated 100 Mbps download, 10–20 Mbps upload internet circuit with unlimited data usage at each facility, utilizing Wi-Fi 6 or newer wireless access points. The successful provider must conduct a detailed site survey, procure and install all necessary hardware including routers, antennas, and core network components, perform integration and testing, and deliver comprehensive documentation including site assessments, equipment inventories, installation and testing reports, heat maps of coverage areas, and training materials for facility staff. All equipment must be Trade Agreements Act (TAA) compliant, and the entire solution must meet industry standards for performance, reliability, and security. The contractor will be required to begin work within five business days of any future award and complete the full project within 180 days. The Government will facilitate access to the buildings and provide necessary escorts, but site operations must accommodate scheduled mission constraints. Responses must include company details, CAGE code, SAM registration verification, small business classification, and evidence of technical capability to meet the described requirements. Key deliverables must demonstrate strong and consistent Wi-Fi signal coverage across all designated areas, support for multiple simultaneous device connections without performance degradation, and full compliance with regulatory and technical standards. The solicitation does not include a pricing component, and the response will be treated strictly as informational to assist the Government in evaluating market capabilities and forming future acquisition strategies.
