The United States Air Force, through the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, is conducting market research to identify qualified vendors capable of supplying and installing commercial-grade laundry equipment for the Wright Care Child Development Center. This effort is a Sources Sought Synopsis for nonappropriated fund (NAF) procurement, meaning it does not involve federal tax dollars and is exempt from Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requirements. The goal is to gather capability packages from potential suppliers to assess market readiness before deciding whether to issue a formal solicitation. Respondents must demonstrate their ability to provide a complete commercial laundry system consisting of six stacked washer-dryer units and two standalone dryers, all meeting strict dimensional limits—units must not exceed 27 inches in width and dryers must not exceed 41 inches in height. All equipment must be new, ENERGY STAR certified or equivalent, feature sanitization and steam cycles, and be externally vented. Ancillary items such as eight new power cords, stainless steel water lines, and heavy-duty venting ductwork are required, along with full professional installation of all eight units at the designated CDC laundry rooms. The installation must be completed by July 31, 2026, and a minimum five-year warranty on parts and labor is mandatory. Responses must be submitted via email to Amanda Hoyng and Ally Peterangelo by 2:00 PM Eastern Time on June 11, 2026, using the subject line “Commercial Laundry Equipment & Service.” Submissions are limited to five pages, must not exceed five megabytes including attachments, and may only include .pdf, .doc, .docx, .xlsx, or .xls files; .zip or .exe attachments will be rejected. Each response must include the company name, physical address, point of contact details, DUNS/CAGE code if applicable, manufacturer information, ownership status, and a statement on whether proprietary data may be shared by the government. Respondents are required to confirm technical compliance with all specifications, provide evidence of past performance on similar projects, describe facility capabilities and staffing, and indicate whether any requirements in the draft SOW would prevent their solution from being viable. Recent commercial sales history must also be provided to verify the commercial nature of the offering.
