The Tennessee Army National Guard intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract to Power Test, a small business, for the completion of the acquisition and installation of the AIDCO 450E Transmission Dyno, including its commissioning and training package. This follow-up service was initially part of a prior contract but was delayed due to necessary facility upgrades unrelated to the vendor. As Power Test is the original provider of the transmission dyno, they are uniquely qualified to perform the remaining services, ensuring the warranty remains valid. The sole source award is justified under FAR 6.302-1(A)(2), allowing this procurement without competition to avoid delay, added cost, or risk to the mission. Interested parties can respond to demonstrate why competition might be advantageous; however, the Government retains sole discretion over proceeding without competitive bidding. This notice is not a solicitation for quotes or proposals and does not assume any costs from respondents. Questions or comments should be directed to Contracting Specialist MAJ Danny Frederick via email. The contract's place of performance is Smyrna, Tennessee, and it is designated as a Total Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS code 334515. The contract supports the Department of Defense and specifically serves the Tennessee Army National Guard’s operational needs.

This sole source contracting action is in accordance with the FAR 6.302-1(A)(2).
