Nature of Requirements:
The Canadian Coast Guard(CCG) has a requirement to purchase communication equipment in order to fully upgrade the small craft that belong to their various large fleet vessels. Each vessel requires numerous small and larger pieces of equipment that together make up the package that is necessary for the whole system to operate and be installable on CCG's existing variety of small craft fleet.
Term of Contract:
The period of the Contract is for one (1) year from date of Contract award with an irrevocable option to extend the terms of the Contract by up to two (2) additional one (1) year period(s), under the same conditions.
Note to Bidders:
Bidders must use the epost Connect service provided by Canada Post Corporation to transmit their bid electronically. Bidders must refer to Part 2 entitled Bidder Instructions, and Part 3 entitled Bid Preparation Instructions, of the bid solicitation, for further information.
Enquiries:
All enquiries must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Authority no later than five (5) calendar days before the bid closing date. Enquiries received after that time may not be answered.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
